The subject of YWCA is not often in the media, and when it is, it is usually to print puff pieces or stories planted by the YWCA itself.

My family along with many other families fleeing from abuse are being kicked out of YWCA shelter because the TCHC waiting list is too long. YWCA is putting victims of violence out on the streets in Toronto because of the increasing demand for affordable housing.

I tried my best to try and fix the system and edcuate tax payers and the public but at the end of the day it seemed like nobody cared....its not personal...its just a side effect of them not caring about themselves or other people. I am just going to now try and get the goverment to pay for my medical therapy bills and relax and do more of what I love. You are always welcome to post about your experiences on this blog.
